Choose Life!

Sometimes life inevitably gifts us with challenges that seem beyond our control and are overwhelming. I believe that during these times we have the opportunity to uncover our inherent strength and resilience, discover more about ourselves, gain insight, increase in faith, and hope into what is most important in life. It is my belief that by creating greater awareness, through support, we can better choose how we respond to these gifts that life gives us!

STACY YONG, founder of SoundMind Therapy Services, holds a Master of Counselling Psychology degree from the Adler School of Professional Psychology and is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). WELCOME

Welcome to your next chapter!

At SoundMind Therapy Services, we are here to help. Our approach to healing is holistic (exploring emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical aspects of someone’s life).  We provide a supportive and welcoming environment for clients to safely explore challenges, conflicts and issues to achieve better emotional, mental, spiritual and physical health for satisfying relationships.

Why going to therapy does not mean you are weak or flawed

We strongly believe that people can grow when they go through difficulties and life challenges.  Choosing to engage in therapy means that you have made a decision to make a change for better wellness even if you may feel fragmented or over-whelmed with life.  Life is a gift, and on a neurological level, therapy can allow you to create healthy pathways in your brain which can replace problematic ones (neuroplasticity).

Therapy can help you to mature as a person, realize what is possible, and finally let go of the pain in order to heal.  Although it may be challenging to enter this process, the reward is greatly fulfilling.  We see people heal and achieve wellness goals often and it is truly a blessing to be apart of.

Contact us today and let's get you on your way to a SoundMind!
